- Phone number (optional, used for order support or notifications)
Order & Payment Information:
- Order history (items you choose, restaurant, order time)
- Payment details are processed securely via Stripe — we do not store your card information on our servers
Device & Usage Data:
- Basic technical info (device type, OS version, anonymous usage stats)
- This helps us improve performance and app functionality
2. What We Do Not Collect (During MVP)
- ❌ No voice data or microphone recordings
- ❌ No location tracking
- ❌ No stored user preferences or AI memory
- ❌ No account passwords (you may order as a guest or use secure third-party sign-in options such as Google or Apple)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process your food orders and communicate with restaurants
- Deliver confirmation emails and order updates
- Improve app performance and support
- Communicate with you about updates, support, or early access features
- We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing.
Mobile phone numbers collected by AIServe are used solely for account verification, order notifications, delivery updates, and customer support communications. AIServe does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
4. Your Privacy Choices
- You can request to delete your personal information at any time by contacting us at: privacy@aiserveapp.com
- You may opt out of waitlist emails or future marketing messages by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email
5. Data Security
All personal and payment-related data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. Payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We never see or store your credit card number.
6. Account Deletion - AIServe
AIServe gives users full control over their account and personal data.
How to delete your account
You may delete your AIServe account at any time using one of the following methods:
Option 1: In-app deletion
If you are logged into the AIServe app, you can delete your account directly from:
Account → Settings → Delete Account
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you are unable to access the app, you may request account deletion by email:
- Email privacy@aiserveapp.com
- Use the subject line: “Account Deletion Request”
- Include the email address associated with your AIServe account
For security purposes, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
What data is deleted
When an account is deleted, we remove or anonymize:
- Account profile information (name, email)
- Saved addresses (if applicable)
- Order history
- App usage data linked to the account
Data that may be retained
Certain records may be retained when required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:
- Transaction records required for legal, tax, or financial compliance
Such data is securely stored and retained only for the period required by applicable regulations.
Processing time
Account deletion requests are typically completed within 30 days of verification, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Guest users
Users who browse or place orders as guests without creating an account do not have persistent account data stored beyond what is necessary to complete the transaction.
7. Children's Privacy
AIServe is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.
8. Future Changes
As we grow, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect new features (such as voice ordering or AI personalization). We’ll notify you of material changes and always prioritize your transparency and control.
